At ERDC our vision is to be a World-Class Research and Development Organization that Discovers, Develops and Delivers New Ways to Make the World Safer and Better Every Day. It is our mission to conduct research and development that leverages science, technology, engineering and mathematics to solve our Nation’s most challenging problems in civil and military engineering, geospatial sciences, water resources, and environment sciences for the Army, Department of Defense, Civilian agencies, and our Nation’s public good. The ERDC staff represents a wide variety of disciplines and includes more than 2,300 engineers, scientists, technicians and administrative personnel, plus hundreds of contract support personnel and students. To support its research mission, two-thirds of ERDC engineers and scientists have graduate degrees.
