Air Force ROTC enables students to pursue a commission to be an Air Force Officer upon completion of their collegiate career. This career provides competitive salaries, medical, and retirement benefits. AFROTC WELCOMES ALL MAJORS. Students must have no less than 3 years left of collegiate studies to join. If less than 3 years, AFROTC will still be willing to consult with them. The Air Force ROTC program at University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus is an Air Force commissioning program and leadership training program centered around the college experience. Our cadets are students first, focused on academic excellence, and also participate in classes and training sessions where they hone their leadership and management skills. It is a challenging program with a worthwhile reward: a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the US Air Force or US Space Force upon graduation. Here you will grow mentally and physically. You will learn the value of integrity, teamwork and perseverance. You will also develop strong leadership skills that will benefit you as an Air Force and Space Force officer.
